CNSA Mission Statement

We strive to promote the sport of Shuffleboard across the nation while providing the opportunity for the development of playing skills and fostering congenial relations.  We endeavour to provide an amiable social environment for those who wish to participate or who choose to be spectators.  We believe our mission also consists of promoting healthy activity, socially and physically for people of all ages and abilities.  We support ideas that bring about lasting change and ensure that many different people can take part in scheduled organized events.  We know that quality activity delivered in the context of a social and competitive environment is beneficial for overall health.

Our Vision

Our vision is to be a vital contributor to the sport of Shuffleboard within a system of local, regional and national associations.  The Canadian National Shuffleboard Association will strive to be flexible and adaptable to meet the changing needs of people of all ages and abilities.

What is the CNSA doing about these statements?

In 2007 the CNSA Board committed to work on the points as set down in the Vision and Mission Statements, as well as the Goals and Objectives established by the CNSA.  The current Board regularly reviews our progress in this regard. One vital key in going forward is the structure of our Organization.  We need a unified cohesive Organization to promote and expand Floor Shuffleboard throughout Canada.  In 2008 we significantly expanded and modified our Organization structure consistent with our Constitution.
