Association of People
The Canadian National Shuffleboard Association is basically an an association
of people who want to see one or more of the following (as an excerpt from the
CNSA Constitution, Articles III, IV
& V):
- A parent organization able to act on behalf of affiliated members.
- A
national organization to foster, promote and publicize the sport of shuffleboard
in Canada.
- Canadian shuffleboard tournament(s), publicized and open to
all CNSA members.
- Organization and support of interprovincial shuffleboard
tournaments.
- Support of the International Shuffleboard Association (ISA)
and a Canadian team to play in ISA tournaments.
- Honour and remembrance
of those Canadian shufflers who have made significant contributions to the sport
through their play and demeanour, or by means of their administrative leadership
and promotion of the sport.

of Fame) - A membership policy encouraging Clubs and even individuals
to join the CNSA if there is no available provincial or regional association that
is a CNSA member.
- Encouraging attendance at the Annual General Meeting
by scheduling this meeting in conjunction with a major CNSA tournament.
- Communication
of shuffleboard news, events and issues to Canadian shufflers, by means of the
CNSA Shuffleboard Canada website (www.cnsashuffleboardcanada.org).
